How It Works
PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma - a concentrated component of your own blood plasma containing a higher concentration of platelets.
Platelets naturally play an important role in the body’s healing response by releasing growth factors as part of normal repair processes.
During a PRP treatment, a small blood sample is collected in a process similar to a standard blood test. The sample is then processed using a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma component, which is prepared for use as part of your personalised treatment.
Your Registered Nurse will discuss the process, suitability and expected experience during your consultation.
